Update from the Lawrenceville Co-Op 9/21/20
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”Hebrews 10:24-25
This passage describes believers as “God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” Doing good works is not a part of our salvation but rather our way of living out our faith.
What can you do as God’s handiwork to make a difference in your community? Maybe you can support a local food bank or another outreach program. Maybe you can volunteer at your local church or a local non-profit organization. There are many people out there who are hungry for God’s love and our care.
Prayer~ Father God, we praise you for making us new creatures in Christ! In him you have shown us what true love is. Teach us how to love not only with words but also with tangible actions. Amen!” (Sosedkin, Sergei Today Daily Devotional)
