Thank you for responding to the survey that was posted and mailed out earlier this month! Based on your responses, we will begin offering in person worship services on July 19, 2020, at 9:00 am. With an abundance of caution for your health and well-being, and following ELCA and CDC guidelines:
- The service will be limited to 50 people inside the sanctuary. It will also be transmitted live into the parking lot.
- We will be taking “reservations” using on online tool. The official invite with link to reservations will come in a special email.
- All participants will undergo screening and contactless temperature checks. Mask that cover the nose and mouth will be required
- We as a group will be practicing social distancing.
There will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the narthex. The service will be around 40 minutes and will include beautiful music, readings, a sermon and prayers. These services will also be transmitted via FM transmitter to the parking lot, for those that may not be comfortable coming inside (and as overflow if we hit our 50 person limit).
Pastor Mitchell will also be recording and posting his usual Sunday service for you to enjoy online. He is also working on a Parking Lot Communion Service that will be added soon!
We will do a test run on July 12, with council members, the Covid team and staff to iron out as many wrinkles as possible. This “Trial Run” service will be broadcast to the parking lot, so please feel free to come and listen. More details will follow, including the much anticipated video tutorial “Bobby Goes to Church“
On behalf of your church council and the Covid Team, I would like to thank you for your patience and your prayers! We are excited to welcome you back to the sanctuary!
